Dawn Flow
A slow, warming sequence to meet the day before the city wakes up.
Tempo, a movement studio in Austin
Tempo is a breath-led movement studio for yoga, strength, mobility, and recovery. We run the day in short, timed blocks: a dawn flow, a midday reset, a long evening session. You arrive, you breathe, you move, you leave a little steadier than you came.
Today
Every block has a shape and a clock. Pick one that fits your day and we will hold a spot at the front.
A slow, warming sequence to meet the day before the city wakes up.
Loaded mobility and slow strength work to set the body up for the hours ahead.
Thirty minutes of breath, stillness, and a long exhale. Come as you are, leave lighter.
Open the hips, free the spine, undo the desk. The session your shoulders ask for.
The long one. Full-body strength paced to the breath, with time to cool down properly.
Restorative shapes, soft light, slow breath. The best way we know to close the day.

Why we do it this way
Most of what we teach is breath first and effort second. When the breath leads, the body follows without bracing, and the work lands deeper for less strain. That is the whole idea, held steady across every class on the board.
We keep rooms small, teachers close, and the music low enough to hear yourself think. No mirrors, no leaderboards, no rush. Just a clear hour, a good floor, and someone watching to keep you honest.
First block is on the house. Reserve a mat, and turn up a few minutes early to settle in.
